REGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NEVILLE
HELD IN THE VILLAGE OFFICE ON March 10, 2021
PRESENT: Mayor Nora McLearn, Councilor Mary Ferris, Councilor Jennifer Cote and Clerk Cindy Berry.
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor McLearn called the regular meeting of Council to order at 7:00 p.m.
42/21 Adoption of Agenda
Ferris: That the Agenda be adopted as provided.
Cote: That the minutes of the regular meeting held on February 10, 2021 be approved.

47/21 Council Monthly Reports
McLearn: That Council accepts the verbal and written Council Monthly Reports.
Council was updated on tax enforcement.
48/21 Fire Department Report
McLearn: That Council accepts the Fire Report as read.
49/21 Contract for New Fire Hall Doors
Cote: That Council awards the contract for new Fire Hall doors to Bridal Construction for their quote of $11497.00 plus applicable tax.
50/21 First Aid Kit Fundraiser
McLearn: That Council agrees that the deadline for the First Aid Kit fundraiser will be April 21, 2021. Further, Council will purchase 2 Survival Kits, 1 Family First Aid Kit and 1 Essential Roadside Kit, to be given to randomly drawn donors to the Replacement Fire Truck Fund. Council will also purchase 3 Emergency Safety Hammers for the fire trucks.
51/21 First Aid Kit Fundraiser
Ferris: That Council agrees to purchase a smoker/barbeque at a cost of ~$450.00, to raffle off for $10.00 per ticket, with the draw being Father’s Day.
52/21 Lagoon Report
Cote: That Council accepts the March lagoon report as read
53/21 Village Sign
Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to order the Village Sign, as presented.
54/21 Offer to Purchase
Cote: That Council accepts the Offer to Purchase Block 1, Lots 11,12, 13, 14, Plan M278.
55/21 Information Services Corporation
Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to send $250.00 to Information Services Corporation to be placed on account.
56/21 Village Clean Up Day
Cote: That Council agrees to have a Village Clean Up Day on May 29, 2021. This will include the large bin at the Nuisance Grounds and be run the same as previous years.
57/21 Spring Newletter
Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to send a Spring Newsletter with the Assessment Notices.
58/21 Neville Historical Society Inc.
Cote: That Council acknowledges receipt of the $3791.24 from the Neville Historical Society Inc., with the intent that it be used to upkeep the Museum.
Council was presented with the 2021 Budget to study and bring back to the Budget Meeting on March 31, 2021.
59/21 April Calendar
Ferris: That Council approves the Office Calendar for April 2021.
60/21 Bylaw 2-2021
Ferris: That Bylaw No. 2-2021, being a Bylaw to Establish the Duties and Powers of the Administrator, be introduced and read a first time.
61/21 Bylaw 2-2021
Cote: That Bylaw No. 2-2021, being a Bylaw to Provide for the Municipality to Enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with an Administrator, be introduced and read a first time.
62/21 Next Meeting
McLearn: That the next regular Council Meeting will be April 14, 2021 at 7 p.m.
