Cote: That Council directs the Clerk to continue to sell the disc sets for $25.00, and retain the other 4 sets for rental discs.

Council reviewed the draft Zoning Bylaw.

McLearn: That Council directs the Clerk to seek legal advice on addressing pools, hot tubs and ponds, in the Zoning Bylaw.

172/22 Targeted Sector Support Grant
Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to seek interest on applying for this grant for a Regional EMO and Regional Emergency Plan.

Nuisance Bylaw Enforcement
Council discussed enforcement of Nuisance Bylaw due to high fire hazard.
173/22 Fire Ban
Cote: That Council immediately enacts a complete fire ban, including fireworks, in the Village of Neville due to the high fire hazard.

174/22 R.M. of Whiska Creek No. 106
McLearn: That Council will send 2 Council members to the R.M. of Whiska Creek No. 106’s Regular Council Meeting on October 3, 2022 at 1 pm, to discuss road issues and snow removal.

175/22 Transfer of Land Title
Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to transfer title of Block 2, Lots 1-6, Plan M278 to the purchaser, as the requirements for title transfer have been completed.

NEW BUSINESS
176/22 Webinars and Meetings
Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to register for the UMAAS/RMAA Community Planning Workshop in Swift Current on October 27, 2022. Further, Council directs the Clerk to register Mayor McLearn for the Southwest Municipal Government Committee meeting in Cabri on September 29, 2022. All out of pocket expenses will be paid.

179/22 Federation of Canadian Municipalities
Cote: That Council directs the Clerk to use the FCM template to write to our MP concerning the effects of the R.C.M.P. retroactive pay on our community.

180/22 Development Permit
Cote: That Council approves the presented Development Permit with the following conditions: a) the property in question will be measured by the Village before construction begins to ensure compliance with the Zoning Bylaw, b) if the building is not completed before the Building Bylaw is officially in place, then the construction could be subject to additional conditions and inspections.

Ferris: That Council approves the Office Calendar for September 2022, and approves the Village Clerk’s holidays for September 20, 2022 to September 29, 2022 inclusive.
