CALL TO ORDER: Mayor McLearn called the regular meeting of Council to order at 7:01 p.m.
253/21 Adoption of Agenda

McLearn: That Council accepts the verbal and written Council Monthly Reports.
Council was updated on Tax Enforcement.
Council was updated on the telephone meeting with Stantec’s engineer who is to provide us a quote for a closure plan and to fill out the grant application form
259/21 Fire Department Report
McLearn: That Council accepts the Fire Report as read and approves the purchase of 2 extension cords and a small air compressor.
260/21 Lagoon Report
Ferris: That Council accepts the lagoon reports for December 2021.
Asset Management SK
Council was updated on the progress of Asset Management.
261/21 Appointment to Development Appeal Board
Cote: That Fred Wernicke, Murray Spetz and Bob Stennick are appointed to the Village of Neville Development Appeal Board for 2022.
262/21 Library Board
Ferris: That Council appoints Chris Cote to the Library Board for 2022.
Council would like to thank Linda Linnen for representing Neville on the Library Board for over 25 years.
263/21 Official Community Plan
Cote: That Council accepts the draft OCP Vision Statement, proposed zoning districts and planning directions as proposed.
SaskEnergy Gas Line Relocation
Council was updated on the planned relocation of the gas line that it is set for spring 2022.
264/21 Covid Policy
Ferris: That Council accepts the Covid Policy for Council Meetings as presented.
265/21 SUMA Group Benefits
Cote: That Council approves the increase in cost for the SUMA Group Benefits.
266/21 Matthewson & Co. Webinars
Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to register for the following Matthewson & Co. webinars: DIY Strategic Planning Friday Feb 11, 2022, Professional Writing Friday February 25, 2022, and Grant Writing Friday March 11, 2022.
267/21 Spring Workshop 2022
Cote: That Council directs the Clerk to register 1 for the Spring Workshop to be held March 22, 2022 in Swift Current. A second registration is approved if Mayor McLearn is able to attend.
268/21 Monitoring of Museum
Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to schedule the installation of Conx monitoring system on 2 windows and the front door of the museum at a cost of $490.00 plus tax for installation and $15.00 per month after. Council additionally directs the Clerk to purchase 2 trail cams to protect the museum.
269/21 Square Terminal
Cote: That Council directs the Clerk to purchase a Square Terminal for credit card and debit purchases at a price of $499.00.
270/21 SaskTel Internet
Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to contract with SaskTel to provide internet to the village office at a price of $69.99 for 5 years.
271/21 Auditor Engagement and Planning Letters
Cote: That Council accepts and signs the engagement and planning letters for the auditor.
Village Emergency Plan
Council was presented with a draft copy of the new and updated Emergency Plan to review for the January meeting.
272/21 January 2022 Calendar
Ferris: That Council approves the Office Calendar for January 2022.
273/21 Next Meeting
McLearn: That the next regular Council Meeting will be January 12, 2022 at 7 p.m.
