Ferris: That Council agrees to purchase a new furnace for the firehall from Len’s Plumbing & Heating for $5170.00 plus tax.

269/22 Southwest Municipal Government
Cote: That Council directs the Clerk to register 2 people for the SWMG meeting on January 19, 2023 in Pontiex. All out of pocket expenses will be covered.

McLearn: That Council directs the Clerk to apply for the Small Community Support Initiative to attend the 2023 SUMA Convention on April 16 – 19, 2023.

Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to register 2 people for the SUMA Virtual Sector Meeting on January 31, 2023.

Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to send a letter to the Minister of Government Relations about the 2024 Election Date .A copy is to be sent to SUMA.

2023 Insurance Rates
Council was presented with the 2023 changes to the village’s insurance rates.

Cote: That Council approves the $250.00 retainer to have Anderson & Company as the village’s legal counsel for 2023.

Ferris: That Council approves the new December 2022 calendar and the January 2023 calendar. This includes the Clerk using 4 holiday days.
