REGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NEVILLE

PRESENT: Mayor Nora McLearn, Councilor Mary Ferris, Councilor Jennifer Cote and Clerk Cindy Berry.
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor McLearn called the regular meeting of Council to order at 7:00 p.m.
01/21 Adoption of Agenda
Ferris: That the Agenda be adopted as provided.

07/21 Council Monthly Reports
McLearn: That Council accepts the verbal Council Monthly Reports.
Council was updated on Tax Enforcement.
08/21 Fire Report
McLearn: That Council accepts the verbal Fire Report as presented.
09/21 Fire Truck
Cote: That Council conditionally approves the purchase of the 1989 fire truck for $17,500.00 dependent on a satisfactory report from the Fire Chief.
10/21 Fire Hall
Cote: That Council directs the Fire Chief to get quotes on enlarging the fire doors. The quotes are to include new fire doors and openers.
11/21 Fire Dispatch Contract
Ferris: That Council approves the Fire Dispatch Contract and directs the Clerk to pay the dues of $114.19.
12/21 Lagoon Report
Cote: That Council accepts the December lagoon report as read
13/21 Block 4, Lots 29-30, Plan M278
Ferris: That Council directs the Clerk to write to the owner of the adjacent property and offer Block 4, Lots 29-30, Plan M278 for the price of $1.00 if the structure on the property is demolished by April 30, 2021.

14/21 SUMA’s Volunteer Fire Fighter Insurance
Cote: That Council approves the Volunteer Fire Fighter Insurance for 2021. Further, the insurance will remain at the previous year’s level, Plan A.

Ferris: That Council approves the Office Calendar for February 2021.
16/21 Bylaw 1-2021
Ferris: That Bylaw No. 1-2021, being a Bylaw to Establish the Payment of Certain Accounts, be introduced and read a first time.
17/21 Bylaw 1-2021
Cote: That Bylaw No. 1-2021, being a Bylaw to Establish the Payment of Certain Accounts, be read a second time.
18/21 Bylaw 1-2021
Ferris: That Bylaw No. 1-2021 be given third reading at this meeting.
19/21 Bylaw 1-2020
Cote: That Bylaw No. 1-2021, being a Bylaw to Establish the Payment of Certain Accounts, be read a third time and adopted.

McLearn: That the next regular Council Meeting will be February 10, 2021 at 7 p.m.
